Looking at the pie charts, something isn’t right: 80% of the world’s resources are being consumed by 20% of the world’s population. I hope that made you go 😱 or 😢 or 🤬 or at least 🤔 ⠀⠀ This notion of glorifying overconsumption has got to go. This idea that we can take more because we can afford more is not right. More than ever, we are buying more stuff, eating more, wasting more and throwing away more. It’s making us unhealthy and it’s destroying the only home we have. What if we glorify a new way? I have a white lilac tree in my yard but not a lilac-coloured one.
