Annika Patel was born in India, raised in Canada, and now lives in the English countryside. She spent nearly two decades as an aerospace engineer before returning to her lifelong love of storytelling. She is the photographer and writer behind Conifères & Feuillus, a 2018 finalist for the IACP Digital Media Award, known for its contemplative photography and intimate, personal storytelling. Drawn to environmental and humanitarian themes and immigrant experiences, she writes about identity, belonging, and the places we call home.
